Evaluating Your Eligibility for Medicare

Find out whether you qualify for Medicare and which plan will suit you best!

Are you Eligible for Medicare?

If you’re wondering about your eligibility for Medicare, you’ve come to the right place! If you are 65 or over and a citizen or permanent resident of the United States, you will qualify for Medicare.

You also need to fulfill the employment criteria, which states that you must have worked for a minimum of 10 years in Medicare-covered employment. The same applies if your spouse fulfills the above mentioned criteria.

If you are not 65, you might also qualify for coverage if you have a disability or are suffering from permanent kidney failure, which requires dialysis or a transplant (End-Stage Renal Disease).

While you wouldn’t have to pay for Part A benefits if you fulfill the above criteria, you still have to pay for Medicare Part B if you choose to avail it.
